Video Poker is a beloved game that is able to be enjoyed in casinos throughout the world, or alternatively at your house on your personal computer, using a web connection. Normally, the minimum winning hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the pay out schedule can range from game to game, so that discerning gamblers are able to choose the most beneficial ones each and every instance.

As soon as the first round has played out, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that might have been won. Additionally, some versions of the game give the player a chance to increase their profits, in which situation a further hand is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other varying elements to enhance playability.
