Electronic Poker is a popular game that can be enjoyed in casinos across the globe, or in your house on your computer, through a net connection. The regulations are very simple and involve the player trying to achieve the highest assemblage of cards possible in order to win cash. In this respect it is very similar as a regular game of poker, minus the line of contact with other players. The game is now completed, with the Video Poker machine scanning the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the payment schedule.

Normally, the minimum succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each and every better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It is obvious that the pay out schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that skillful enthusiasts are able to select the most beneficial machine each and every time.

After the first round has completed, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Further, some styles of the game allow the player an opportunity to double their wins, in which case another round is played. There are also differences among specific machines, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing aspects to increase playability.
