Video Poker is a beloved game that is able to be played in casinos all over the globe, or alternatively at your house on your home computer, through an Internet connection. The rules are very simple and consist of the player attempting to get the highest mixture of cards achievable in order to acquire money. In this respect it is much the same as a classic game of poker, without the involvement with competing players. The game of Video Poker starts when the gambler inserts credits (either tokens, tickets or money) into the machine and pushes the deal button. A 5 card hand will then be "dealt" on the video screen.

After the first round has finished, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any credits that might been won.
