Electronic-Poker is really a casino game of skill – and using the straightforward combination of playing method and mathematical understanding, might be beat. Take note of the "pay out schedule" shown on the front of each device, and look particularly at the most critical data – how very much the machine will pay out for a Full-House vs . a Flush.

An advanced video poker player will also realise that a "Jacks-or-Better" machine – classed as a 9/6 device for paying out 9 coins: one for each Full House and six: 1 for every single Flush, could be beaten using ideal Basic Electronic Poker Method. An additional device offering the sophisticated electronic poker gambler an edge is the ten/six Deuces Wild machine. These odds have been established as a result of personal computer modelling. For that other video poker machines – even if a player plays the Perfect Video Poker Technique casino game, he will still not win, though will have fun betting!

You will find set rules defining Basic Electronic-Poker Method regardless of whether wagering online or in a casino – very much like the Basic Technique for Black-jack,

Jacks-or-Better Electronic-Poker Strategy

  • In any hand having a Jack, unless of course the hand is already a winner! – four to an open-ended Straight, four with a Flush or 3 to a Straight Flush or Royal Flush – refuse all cards only keeping the Jack
  • In any hand having only 1 card Jack or better, retain the single high card and reject all other cards and redraw.
  • In any hand having one pair less than than Jacks, keep the pair and refuse all other cards – unless of course the hand is 4 to some Straight or four to some Flush
  • In any hand holding a 2-pair, preserve both pair and refuse the odd-card.
  • In any hand having 3-of-a-kind maintain the three-of-a-kind and refuse the other 2 cards.
  • In any hand having four with a Straight, maintain all 4 Straight cards and re-draw – unless the Straight draw isn’t open-ended and the hand is having a Jack)
  • In any hand with 4 to a Flush, maintain the four Flush – unless the hand holds three to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand with four-of-a-kind, hold anything since a one-card draw will not improve the cards.
  • In any hand with 3 to a Royal Flush, refuse almost everything else and go for that Royal – unless the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
